The Poshan Abhiyan has been celebrated by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Barpeta at its Training cum
Conference Hall. Total 100 farmers from different parts of the district attended the programme. The
inaugural season of the programme was chared by Mrs. Anjali Choudhury, Chairman, Town
committee, Howly. Babita Talukdar, Ward commissioner, Howly Ward No3 was present in the
programme. Also Mr. Hadis Ali Ahmed, SFA, IFFCO Ltd. Present on the event. The welcome address
was delivered by Ms. Lipika Nath, SMS(Horticulture). Dr. Kuldeep Talukdar, SMS(Plant Protection)
hosted the Farmers Scientist Interaction. During the programme 100 nos of seed packet provided by
IFFCO and 100 nos of sapling of medicinal plants were distributed among the farmers. The recorded
message of Hon’ble Minister of Agriculture & Farmers’s Welfare for Nutri Campaign was shown
