KVK, Barpeta has organized Kisan Mela on the occasion of Kisan Bhagidari PrathmiktaHamari campaign under ‘Azadi Ki Amrit Mahotsav’ on 26.04.2022 at KVK, Barpeta campus. Total280 numbers of farmer from different corners of the district participated in the programme. As a partof the programme, seven Exhibition stalls were erected where Self Help Groups, IFFCO, Small ScaleIndustries, Department of Sericulture, Plant nursery and KVK, Barpeta was participated. In connection with the International Yoga Day KVK, Barpeta has organized a yogaprogramme where all the staffs attended the programme along with a few numbers of farmers/people of the nearby villages. Total 30 (Thirty) numbers of people participated in the programme.The programme was lead by Mrs. Jumi Kalita, an eminent Yoga expert in the locality.An awareness campaign on ‘Efficient and balanced used of fertilizers (Including Nano-Fertilizers)’ was organized. Online session organised by Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat wasalso attended by the stakeholders.
